3 Major R&D Projects in 2026

The Changyang Materials R&D team continues to drive material innovation. This guide consolidates three flagship 2026 R&D projects — HyperTac (in mass production), Hyperlite (PP+EVA low-carbon football outsole, ready for client trials), and PA11 Elastomer (PEBAX replacement, in formulation development) — helping brand clients stay ahead of material trends and technical specifications.

Abrasion × Slip Resistance — Next-Gen Injection TPU, No More Trade-off

⭐ Abrasion × Slip · No More Trade-off

HyperTac (62A flagship + 70AT high-end transparent backup) Breaks the historical "good abrasion = poor slip resistance" trade-off, achieving both 25 mm³ abrasion and SATRA TM144 1.35 DRY slip resistance — two extreme metrics, combined with injection process design freedom and 100% thermoplastic closed-loop recycling.

SPOTLIGHT

HyperTac
Abrasion × Slip Resistance — Generational Breakthrough

62A (Flagship · Translucent) + 70AT (High-End Transparent Backup)

Traditionally TPU outsoles have been seen as "good abrasion = poor slip resistance." The HyperTac achieves both 25 mm³ abrasion and SATRA TM144 1.35 DRY slip resistance on the same pellet — two extreme metrics, no compromise.

1

Drop-in Compatibility Benchmarks industry 62A soft TPU — 63A hardness / 1.19 density / 22 MPa tensile / 71 N/mm tear. Existing molds, geometry, and designs work without re-engineering

2

Full Injection Process Advantage 100–130s cycle (vs rubber 360–480s = 3-4x faster). Only runner cleanup needed before shipment; thin walls down to 1mm achievable

3

Design Freedom Moccasin effects, pearlescent, neon-transparent — current sneaker outsole innovation directions. Thermoset rubber / GCPU limited by curing processes

4

100% Recyclable Thermoplastic closed loop — runners, gates, and scrap all recycled. Supports brand 2030 circular commitments
